Physical: Well proportioned 6-foot-1, 200 lb frame.
Offensively: Wide, balanced stance with the feet even and the hands starting up in front of the back shoulder; hands load to the back side of the shoulder while gaining some ground on the low stride; strong effort from the lower half staying behind the ball well; barrel is direct to contact before staying through the zone to a 2 hand finish; hard line drive contact with pop to the pull side gap. peak exit velo 88 MPH.
Defensively: Active footwork playing through the ball routinely with a soft glove, seamless transfer and accurate throws from a 3/4 release.
7/22/20
Physical: Lengthy, well proportioned 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame with minimal twitch and ability to continue adding strength. 8.71 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Tall, open stance with the hands resting right above the shoulder in the setup. Utilized a leg-hang with drift to the front side as the timing mechanism coupled with a shoulder turn inward to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone. Gets negative with the attack angle at times creating a majority of line drives in the approach. Was on time at the front of the plate with the barrel and demonstrated the ability to work the middle of the field primarily during batting practice; recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 79 mph according to Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The primary first baseman demonstrated adequate feel around the bag with a moderately high center of gravity, a soft glove hand worked off of the middle of his body with ability to use inside turns on double play footwork. 1B - 66 mph
