Physical: Athletic, proportional 5-foot-11, 175lb frame with two-way appeal. Molloy College recruit ran a 6.88 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, slightly outside shoulder-width stance as the hands operated out over the plate in rhythm. Utilized an up/down leg lift stride to produce a flat, direct barrel into the hitting zone. Stayed over the rear hip with some leverage in the approach, notching a T96 mph bat-exit velocity en route to a 30% line drive rate (via Trackman). Impressive feel for the barrel, hitting the ball flush to all fields and peaking at a near 370 foot batted ball distance with HR juice to pull. Good sequencing and efficient lower half actions in the box.
Defensively: The shortstop featured above-average footwork with active movements in either direction - beat the ball to the spot with a soft glove hand presented off his left. Fielded cleanly and followed a downhill line to the target at release from H ¾ slot (81 mph arm). Flashed some consistent pace and ability to spin the double play.
Pitching: RHP - Started tall off the left side of the rubber; quicker leg lift to a balanced stack holding pace down the slope. Used some drop/drive in the delivery, releasing at a H ¾ slot with a quick, fluid arm. The FB ranged from 81-83 mph with ability to spin the ball and land for strikes. Manipulated a sharp, two-plane 70-72 mph CB with tunnel out of the hand (11/5 shape) and countered with a commanded 71-73 mph splitter at 706rpms (late drop).
