Richeson is a sturdy 6-foot-0 175 pound LHP/OF who ran a 4.56 home to 1B. Offensively- Starts with his feet just outside his shoulders and a hand position just above the shoulder with a slight angle. Creates good separation with load of his hands.  Gains minimal ground with stride while staying back. Aggressive back foot/hip rotation with some leveling prior to contact that stays through the zone. High finish with hands and an exit velocity of 73 MPH. Line drive type hitter. Defensively- Richeson gets behind the ball well and showed an aggressive approach to the ball.  Adequate transfer and arm strength of 69 MPH. Improved transfer and quicker feet should allow him to be a corner outfielder. Pitching- From the stretch uses a simple leg lift to a mid chest balance point. Stride lands open and slightly to the 1B line while arm works through a high 3/4 slot. Slight recoil into his finish. FB sat 67-69 MPH with his 2S showing some sink and arm side run. CB has the beginning basics with late break at 53-54 MPH. Overall, a young left-hander to follow who should get stronger as he develops.
