Spiegel has an athletic build at 6-foot-2 175-pounds. Fastball topped at 82 MPH and sat mostly 80-82 MPH throughout his outing of work. Flashed a curveball at 71-73 with some 11/t tilt. Up tempo start to delivery into an athletic balance point. Uphill shoulders going down the mound. Drop and drive type pitcher, develops velocity from lower half as he descends down the mound. Firm, strong landing leg on first contact with the mound – foot lands square to homeplate but will turn open toward first base on finish. Will drift toward first base side of rubber. Long, loose arm with some explosiveness going down the mound. More velocity in the tank as he continues to fill out his frame.
