8/6/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in a taller setup. Loading sequence is fluid and athletic. Lower half creates energy and balance. Swing is efficient and repeatable. Takes a level path to the baseball with some whip through the zone. Line drive type swing. Uses the whole field. A left-handed catcher. Very good athlete behind the plate. Jumps out of his stance with athleticism. Catch and throw skills are impressive. On the mound the southpaw is mechanically efficient with clean arm action. Delivery requires little effort. A drop and drive guy that works through a high-¾ slot. Fastball stays mostly true through the zone, sitting in the mid 70s. Expect more velocity to come. Showed a changeup and breaking ball for his secondary offerings. Slows arm a bit on his change that had some fade to it. Was consistently in the zone with the offering. Breaking ball moves on a 1/7 plane with signs of sharpness. Expect both secondary offerings to continue to improve as velocity increases.

7/5/16
5-foot-9, 140-pound average build. At the plate he shows a good compact swing. Minimal load with his lower half, hands stay short and quick through the zone. Registered a top exit velocity of 75 mph. Behind the plate, his receiving skills are average. Transitions nicely into a high ¾ slot with 64 mph arm strength. Pop times ranged 2.18-2.25.

6/15/16
5-foot-9, 140-pound athletic frame. Ran 4.55 from home to first. Gets efficient use out of his lower half through a leg kick load and aggressive stride. Creates energy with his lower half. Would like to see him add rhythm. Bat has definite strength to it with natural whip through the zone. Exit velocity was 76 mph. Solid defensively with the ability to block in games. Pop times ranged from 2.06-2.14. Adequate receiver. Will need to improve arm strength. A two-way prospect that had a good tempo to his delivery on the mound. Average armspeed at this stage. His fastball that he was able to locate to both sides of the plate at 68-72 mph.
