6/9/15
6-foot-1, 190-pound solid build. On the mound the left hander has a strong lower half. Slow tempo delivery with a controlled lift with minimal effort. Throws from a high-3/4 slot with his fastball sitting 80-85 with easy arm action. Shows a lot of feel spinning a breaking ball at 70-75 mph with good 1/7 sharp tilt. Showcased a solid changeup at 75 mph with good arm speed.
11/2/14
6-foot-1, 190-pound average build. On the mound the southpaw has a good lower half and hides the ball well on his lift. Throws from a easy high-¾ slot with fastball sitting 81-84 mph. Shows really good feel of his breaking ball at 74-75 mph with a good sharp 1/7 break and depth to it. Alex also showcased a good changeup at 75-77 mph with good arm speed.

6/24/14
6-foot, 180-pound athletic body frame. Defensively he shows athletic footwork, doing a good job of playing through the baseball on ground balls, he comes from a clean ¾ slot but can improve carry on his throws by incorporating a crow hop that reaches a top velocity of 82 mph. Left-handed hitter starts from a wider, balanced set up. He uses a smooth hands back to shoulder trigger, does a good job using both sides of the field, gets good extension after contact on follow through. He ran a 4.38 down the line. On the mound the lefty uses a clean arm action with average armspeed coming from a ¾ slot. His delivery requires regular effort. He was mostly up in the zone with his command and release point on this occasion. His fastball ranged from 78-82 mph with some natural tail movement. Curveball showed signs of being sharp at times and was consistently thrown at 74 mph. His changeup showed similar action as his fastball at 70-71 mph.
