Ashton Fulkerson: SS/3B, (2022) Worthington Christian, OH. 6-foot, 165-pound. Solid during batting practice, Fulkerson recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. (60.60 mph bat speed average). (20.42 mph hand speed average). Started in a tall open stance with a small load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is efficient, displays an upward swing plane and high finish. In his round he found multiple barrels. Up the middle approach. Athletic in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 80 mph; showed a natural clean exchange, soft hands, and athletic rhythmic feet. Solid recorded an outfield position velocity of 84 mph; has rhythmic athletic feet, a natural fluid exchange, and soft hands. Uses his glove out front. Had a long arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag.During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.01.
Ashton Fulkerson: SS/3B, (2022) Worthington Christian, OH. 6-foot, 165-pound. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 85 mph. Starts in an athletic tall stance with a smooth load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is above average, shows a short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up multiple balls during the round. Up the middle approach. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 80 mph; had sure hands, consistent footwork, and a natural exchange. Solid in the outfield, he showed a plus arm and had life on his throws with a position velocity of 88 mph;showed a natural exchange, smooth athletic feet, and sure hands. Glovework was used out front. Showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base.
Hit:Left-handed hitter that begins in an upright, open stance. Simple and efficient loading sequence, in which he utilizes a leg kick to get back even and for timing. Level bat path through the zone, with a middle/backside approach. Showcased some quickness to the hands and will continue to improve as he physically develops.
Power: Present Gap Abilities
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles
Field:Moves well with a solid approach from both the INF and OF position. In the infield, he possesses good actions with athletic footwork and sufficient hands. In the OF, he plays with a solid tempo and approach to the ball, while the ball skills are on par for class.
Throw: Solid arm strength that will continue to improve as he continues to develop physically.
Defensive Projection: 3B/2B
Delivery/Scouting Notes: The 2022 uses a thin frame that uses a quiet/simple tempo throughout the delivery. Releases from a ¾ arm slot which creates a downhill plane. Uses a slight coiling action with the hips to generate more velocity.
Fastball: Quality FB with sinking action
Breaking Ball: 11/5 gradual offering. More development to come
Changeup: Good arm action with late fade
Hit:Projectable lefty in the box. Good athlete with an efficient stroke and much more to come as he fills out that athletic frame. Stays inside the baseball nicely, working through a middle back approach. Solid round, generating a ton of line drives.
Power:Line drive pop with gap abilities.
Offensive Projection:Multiple Roles.

Field:Rangy defender. Athletic with above average lateral mobility/ball skills.
Throw:Clean arm that will continue to add strength as he develops physically.

2/17/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Fluid slow-tempo delivery with a sit and drive approach. Slight leg lift with a long arm action throwing out of the ¾ arm slot. Strike thrower.
Fastball: Presents some inconsistent arm side run at 76mph.
Curveball: 12/6 break with average depth and bite at 62mph.
Changeup: Better of the offerings with arm side fade and consistent with accuracy.
2/17/20 Position Player
Hit: Left handed bat that starts out in a balanced set up. Short, on time swing mechanics. Some quick burst with his hands. Bat path stays level through the zone.
Power: Gap to gap. More power to come as he fills out.
Offensive Projection: TBD.
Field: Ball first mentality. Footwork and glove skills are developing but playable for his age. Plays through the ball well generating positive momentum.
Throw: Developing arm strength. Ball comes out of the hand through a ¾ arm slot 68 mph across the diamond.
Defensive Projection: 3B/2B.
