5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect with wiry frame. Defensively, he starts slightly open in his stance behind the plate. Takes a quick jab step to the side, but squares himself up and creates direction towards second base. Has some quickness to his transfer, but we will get even faster with better glove to hand exchange. Top velocity of 72 mph from the crouch. Offensively, he is a fluid swinger from the right side. Does a nice job of gathering his weight in his loading sequence prior to transferring it during his stride. Hands stay relatively quiet prior to getting the bat through the zone on a level path. Ball comes off his bat well and was able to use both sides of the field. Natural tools are above average.
