RHP/OF, (2023) South Range, OH. 6-foot-2, 210-pound. Solid on the mound, showed quick arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Has a strong balance point and falling off shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 84-88 mph. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 2082; Avg 1816). Threw a 11/5 curveball (65-68) with slurvey action. (Max spin 1510; Avg 1396). His changeup (73-74) shows slight action. His 10/4 slider (67-71) has tight action. (Max spin 1488; Avg 1409).
Billy Skripac: RHP/SS, (2023) South Range, OH. 6-foot-2, 210-pound. During batting practice, Skripac's best exit velocity was 94 mph. (70.3 mph bat speed average). (22.3 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, exhibits a simple uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 87 mph; has consistent feet, a natural exchange, and soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed an athletic balance point. Produced a fastball that came in at 81-84 mph; had running action and arm side control. Threw a 11/5 curveball (62-64) with gradual action. Shows arm side control and fading action on his changeup (68-69). Throws a 11/5 slider (67-69) that has plus action.
Hit:Balanced setup from the right side. Uses a simple load that leads to a mostly balanced launch. Path is level and swing shows an above average combination of strength/bat speed. Ball jumps when squared.
Power:Ran the pull side gap with ease a few times in BP.
Offensive Projection:Middle of lineup.
Field:Rangy defender that appears to be sure-handed. Size/skill set indicate a left side of the infield future.
