Body Type: 5-foot-11, 180-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Wider stance with a slight back load during small leg lift.
Hit: Compact, slightly downhill stroke with feel for contact. Swing offers a balanced combination of strength and speed through the zone. Line drive guy with all field abilities. Solid round of BP.
Power: Line drive guy with occasional gap abilities. 76 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Ball mover with sneaky pop.
Run: 7.85 60-yard dash.
Field: Corner frame and skill set. Very fluid defender with above average ball skills.
Throw: Arm is top tool out there. Very clean arm and ball jumps out of the hand. Much more strength to come. 77 mph across the diamond.
Defensive Projection: 3B.
2/7/19 Pitching
Body Type: 5-foot-11, 180-pound athletic frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Clean uptempo delivery. Carter Capps look to him. Very clean, easy arm. Ball comes out well.
Fastball: 77-80 mph. Heavy pitch with above average velocity for class and all the signs for more to come. Ideal candidate for velocity jump.
Curveball: 62-65 mph. 11/5 shaped breaking ball that was very sharp at times. Already an above average offering that projects to be even sharper down the road as velo spikes.
Changeup: 68-70 mph. Maintains arm speed. Developing feel for the offering. When in the zone it was well above average.
Pitchability: Showed the ability to fill up the zone and live below the barrel.
Additional Comments: Definite follow. Potential three-pitch righty with more velo to come. Very easy delivery.
