Brady Bly: C, (2022) Mason, OH. 5-foot-9, 180-pound physical frame. In the box, Bly clocked an exit velocity of 85 mph. Began in a balanced stance with a smooth quick load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed was average, and displayed a flat swing plane. Movements laterally were athletic. Behind the plate, his best throw downs of the day reached a max velocity of 70 mph; had soft hands, smooth consistent footwork, and a clean exchange. Recorded pop times of 2.19-2.28. Athletic setup with average flexibility.

Hit:Left-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Uses a very smooth, efficient load prior to launch. Everything omes together well. Path plays, getting into the zone early/out late creating a large margin for error in timing. All fields abilities working to both gaps in BP.
Power:Line drive swinger with gap abilities. Both strength and speed are apparent in stroke.

Field: Low crouch stance with average pop. Becomes vertical on throwdown.
Throw: 67mph infield velo with a catcher velo of 68mph. Pop time of 2.12.
Defensive Projection: Utility.
Body Type: 5-foot-8, 170-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Smooth load with his lower half, and has a bat tip that gets everything loose and in sync very well.
Hit: Good feel in the box with a level bat path. Gets inside the baseball well and produces backspin to the backside.
Power: Line drive pop with flashes of gap abilities. 83 mph off the bat in BP.
Offensive Projection: TBD. Young hitter. Functionally athletic with the ability to manipulate the barrel to make quality contact.
Field: Quick feet with a smooth transfer. Receives the baseball well, and has good feel for the position. Plays with smooth tempo in the outfield. Goes with a one-handed play through, showing solid ball skills for class.
Throw: Developing arm strength with loose arm action.
Defensive Projection: LF.
