Scouting Notes: Some upside here for sure. 6-foot-3 with a smooth, easy delivery. Expect fastball velocity to continue to climb as he adds strength to frame. Also will mix in a playable breaking ball with big, 12/6 action.

Hit:Balanced swing from the right side. Level path with balanced natural tools. Worked primarily middle of the field in BP with line drive abilities.
Power:Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection:Table setter.
Field:Plays under control throughout sequence in the infield. Softer hands with athletic actions outside of funnel.
Throw:Serviceable strength.
Defensive Projection:3B.
2/19/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes:Looks the part physically on the mound. Long levery type with a fast pace. Long, looser arm that travels through a high-3/4 slot. Lower half brings him to the first base line at finish.
Fastball:Mostly true through the zone. 72-75 mph.
Fastball Spin Rate:1400-1600
Curveball:11/5 shaped offering with decent spin and developing depth. Showed heavier break when down in the zone. Still developing feel for the offering. Hovered around 65 mph.

Changeup:Fastball look out of the hand. Tended to bury the offering. Showed potential when in the zone.
Pitchability: In/out.
2/19/20 Position Player
Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Goes with a leg kick timing trigger with barrel using a tip prior to launch. In.out path with a balanced combination of strength and speed to hands. Worked through a middle back approach in BP. Handled the low pitch well.
Power:Flashed gap abilities.
Offensive Projection:TBD. Much more juice to come as he levels out and adds strength.

Field: Worked out at third base. Looks comfortable over there with solid ball skills. Made all the plays in eval and looked comfortable on the move.

Body Type: 6-foot-1, 165-pound athletic, physical frame.
Swing Mechanics: Tall stance from the right side. Uses a slight back load with hands during his leg kick to create energy with lower half.
Hit: Uphill path that stays compact through the zone. Swing is a bit raw but tools play. Physical kid with some bat speed in there for sure. Worked to the middle of the field in BP.
Power: 76 mph exit velocity. Much more to come as he fills out frame.
Offensive Projection: Run Producer Potential.
Run: 7.92 60-yard dash.
Field: Possesses the frame for the third base position. Rangy defender with fluid lateral mobility. Ball skills are on par for class.
Throw: 68 mph across the infield. Throws with intent through high-¾ slot. Mostly accurate across the diamond.
Defensive Projection: Corner Infielder
2/17/18
6-foot, 159 pound outfield prospect swings a level path from the right hand box. Made average contact throughout his round while squaring some up. Swing looked to be rushed a couple times. Recorded a 74 mph exit velocity off the tee. On the mound this tall, slender framed right hander hides the ball well in his delivery. Deceptive motion and average mechanics. Fastball had slight arm side run to it a 67-71 mph topping out at 72 mph a couple times. Curveball showed nice break and located well at 57-58 mph. Changeup is developing at 59-62 mph. In the outfield he showed an average glove fielding it. Footwork is developing in speed and routes taken to the ball. Will come with age. Recorded a 68 mph throwing velocity.
