Started in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed is efficient, exhibits a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 72 mph; had soft hands, consistent footwork, and a natural exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 8.69. On the mound, using a compact arm action he showed consistent arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. (Max spin 1963; Avg 1926). His 11/5 curveball showed some action. (Max spin 2149; Avg 2101).
