Brown put together a solid BP. Starts in a wider setup and shows a loading sequence that doesn’t require a ton of movement. His above average natural tools allow him to generate gap pop with a simple stroke. Ball comes off well to both gaps. Swing looks to play in game. In the outfield he has fluid actions, getting to the baseball in a timely fashion. Arm works well, projecting for more strength down the road. Corner type skill set.

5-foot-8, 135-pound athletic frame. Ran a 4.97 from home to first. The righty starts in a wider setup before using a leg kick to get his lower half started. Lower half creates good energy into contact. Hands stay simple before getting through the zone on a flat path. Produced Consistent line drives in batting practice. Top exit velocity was 66 mph. In the infield he plays low with quick footwork. Would be aided by fielding the ball out in front more consistently. Working through a high 3/4 arm slot with his fastball sitting 69-71 mph. His breaking ball showed sings of being sharp at 62-65 mph.
5-foot-8, 135 pound 2020 prospect worked slowly while gradually building up his pace during his motion. Threw with a high ¾ arm slot with long arm action. 70-74 mph fastball with cut action, 54-58 11/5 proved to be his out pitch, along with a developing 59-62 mph change up. Showed athletic actions in the infield. Long arm action with top velocity of 67 mph across the infield. Some softness in his hands and athleticism in his feet. From the crouch, he reached a top velocity of 65 mph. Starts from a wide stance. Some quickness in his feet. Showed some carry to his throws. Pop times between 2.27 to 2.58. Balanced batting stance, hits the ball hard, while using a top hand release. Drop hands during the swing. Reached a top exit velocity of 79 mph off the tee and ran a 7.76 60-yard dash.
Brown has a 5-foot-8, 135-pound frame. He has a wide stance and uses a leg kick with his rhythm. He uses a level swing and swiped the barrel across the zone with good bat speed. His exit velocity was 80 mph and he ran the 60-yard dash in 7.51. On the infield, he showed good rhythm with his feet and soft hands. His velocity across the infield was 68 mph. Will be an interesting prospect to follow.
