2/23/20

2/22/20 Position Player
Hit: Wide pre loaded stance with a quick twitch of the bat getting it across the zone easily.
Power: 84mph exit velo with a max distance of 224 feet.
Offensive Projection: Line drive hitter that can work all parts of field.
Field: Comfortable at the 1B position and OF with a solid glove and smooth/fluid footwork.
Throw: 72mph infield velo and 77mph outfield velo.
Defensive Projection: 1B.

5/28/19

Body Type: 5-foot-11, 165-pound prospect with room to add strength.
Swing Mechanics:
Swing is simple and fluid.
Hit:
Stays inside of the ball, does a nice job going with the pitch and using the whole field. Creates some backspin on the ball.
Power:
More line drive presently. There’s room to add strength and potential to drive the ball into the gaps in the future. 77 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection:
Multiple Roles.
Run:
4.52 H to 1st.
Field:
Fluid actions in the outfield with a nice, one-handed play through. Ball skills are there.
Throw:
Arm works and ball comes out well. Much more arm strength to come.
Defensive Projection:
Multiple roles.

2/16/19

Body Type: 5-foot-10, 150 pounds. Athletic frame with room to fill in.
Swing Mechanics:
Hits from a balanced, no stride stance as he attacks the baseball.

Hit: Let ball get too dep on him at times preventing greater contact as well as extension through the ball. Performed more efficiently as his round went on while making some adjustments.
Power:
77 mph exit velocity. Power heard in some of his barrel contact while seeing it more so backside and middle of the field.
Offensive Projection: TBD for now as he continues growth.

Run: 4.66 seconds home to first.
Field:
As an infielder his glove is payable and can work lower to the ground as he receives it. Gets rid of it quickly over to first with some accuracy. Footwork is progressing. In the outfield he fielded the ball well letting it get deeper in his stance at times which will improve. Similar arm action to his infield play with the ability to field it and get rid of the ball quickly to its next destination.
Throw:
70 mph across the diamond. 73 mph from the outfield.
Defensive Projection:
Looked more comfortable as an infielder, but over the next few years will develop at both positions.
