A right-handed hitter that uses a simple approach mechanically. Takes his hands back during his short stride forward, prior to taking a downhill path to the ball. Swing is compact. Would be aided by getting more energy out of his lower half. Contact type guy at this stage. Defensively, he projects as a second base type. Shows some anticipation in his feet, but tends to field the ball straight on flat footed. Would like to see him keep playing through the ball. Good range to his glove side. Throws from ¾ slot with some stiffness to his arm action. Top velocity of 70 mph.
