Began in a balanced quiet stance with a quick load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is quick, displays a short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 69 mph; has sure hands, consistent feet, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 72-73 mph. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1583; Avg 1557). His 11/5 curveball (60-61) showed gradual sweeping action. (Max spin 1658; Avg 1627).
