Simple, smooth stroke from the right side. Regular flush barrels with middle to pull direction. 70+mph batspeed with an efficient sequence. Similar profile from the left/true switch hitter. Also looked the part behind the dish. Athletic presence back there with a high motor and feel to block/receive. Solid showing from the backstop.


Carter Vilevac: C/3B, (2022) Brookside, OH. 5-foot-11, 184-pound. Athletic at the plate, Vilevac clocked an exit velocity of 87 mph. Begins in an open athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a short stride. Found multiple barrels in his rounds. Behind the plate, his strong arm produced efficient throws to second at velocities up to 79 mph; has consistent hands, athletic feet, and a natural exchange. showed his ability to throw runners out with an efficient pop time of 1.97-2.03. Had calm setup. Clocked a 60 time of 7.74 at the event. 


Carter Vilevac: C/3B, (2022) Brookside, OH. 5-foot-11, 184-pound physical frame. At the plate, the switch hitter had a max exit velocity of 90 mph. Started in a wide stance with a quick controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was average, and used a level swing plane. Laterally, his movements were athletic. Behind the plate, his strong arm produced efficient throws to second at velocities up to 79 mph; shows a clean exchange, soft hands, and smooth consistent feet. Had a pop time of 2.00-2.07. Average flexibility and clean setup. Clocked a 60 time of 7.6 at the event. 


Hit:Switch hitter. From the left side he starts in a tall, open stance. Smooth load that incorporates efficient movement patterns. Everything comes together well and he squared up the ball frequently in BP. From the right side he Has very similar movements. Almost a mirror image movement. Maintains natural tools. Looks to be a legit switch guy. Very solid round. Power:Gap abilities. Left the yard in BP. Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles. Max BP Exit:L-92mph/R-88 mph Max BP Distance:L-346ft/R-276ft Field:Very solid defender behind the dish. Skill set is well above average for class. Catch/throw skills continue to get better and he can really block/receive. Also worked out at third base where he showed a respectable skill set. Not flashy over there but sure-handed. Catcher first who can play third when he needs a breather. Throw: Defensive Projection:

Hit: Switch hitter. From the left side, starts with an athletic, open stance in the box. Simple loading sequence as he pushes his hands back and uses a subtle leg lift to get back to even and for timing purposes. Level bat path through the zone. From the right side, also has an athletic, open stance in the box. Loading sequence remains simple, with a slight leg lift for timing. Bat path is level through the zone and from both sides, he was able to generate backspin to the gaps on several occasions.
Power: 82 mph tee ev. Flashed gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Run producer traits.
Field: Worked out as a C. Recorded a 2.00-2.10 pop time, while displaying good footwork and a smooth transition. Advanced actions for young age.
Throw: 74 mph arm from C to 2B.
Defensive Projection: C.


Body Type: 5-foot-10, 155-pound very athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Switch hitter with an athletic loading sequence that has a similar look from both sides.
Hit:  This was the best performance we’ve seen from him at the plate. Drove the ball with authority in BP, showing an all fields approach from both sides. Maintains natural tools from both as well. Impressive round.
Power: Gap abilities. Top exit velocity off the bat in BP was 82.1 mph.
Offensive Projection: Run Producer.
Field: Behind the dish he shows quick feet and urgent transfer. Smooth actions. Ball comes out well. Above average catch/throw guy. Look comfortable blocking/receiving in game. Also worked out in the infield where he showed more than a capable skills set. Good athlete who moves well out there. Sure-handed defender.  Behind the dish, he featured an open stance with quick and a smooth transfer.
Throw: Accurate arm with respectable strength.  Behind the dish, he features a good arm with loose arm action.  Receives and blocks the baseball well.
Defensive Projection: C/2B. 


Body Type: Physical, athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Switch hitter. Uses a very similar, fluid loading sequence from both sides of the plate.
Hit: Took a slightly better BP from the right side but as of now is considered a true switch. Stays inside the baseball well, spraying line drives all over the yard. Talented hit tool for class.
Power: Line drive guy with flashes of gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup lean.
Field: In the infield he plays under control throughout sequence. Soft hands with fluid actions. 2B type. Made outstanding play to backhand side in workout.   Behind the dish, he receives and blocks well, and showcased good footwork, and a quick transfer.
Throw: Developing strength with present accuracy.
Defensive Projection: C/INF.


Body Type: 5-foot-10, 155-pound athletic frame.

Swing Mechanics: Switch hitter with a similar look from both sides of the box.

Hit: True switch potential with athletic actions and jump from both sides of the plate. Offers present gap abilities with much more to come. Physical kid with bat speed.  Intriguing bat to follow for sure.

Power: 80 mph exit velocity.

Offensive Projection:

Run: 4.81 H-1st.

Field: Above average athleticism with respectable ball skills in the infield. 2B/3B skill set. Also worked behind the dish where recorded pop times of 2.16-2.31.

Throw: 74 mph arm strength across the diamond and 71 mph from the crouch.  

Defensive Projection: C/2B/3B.

Starts in an athletic setup at the plate. Flows through his leg kick timing trigger and bat tip load, leading to a balanced launch. Minor path issues but ball really comes off when squared. Sprayed it around the field. Athletic swing with above average natural tools in general. Solid showing behind the dish as well. Popped 2.19-2.24 and threw with 69 mph arm strength to second base.

True switch hitter with a very similar look from both sides. Uses a small leg lift for timing as barrel flows to a vertical launch position. Ball jumps and he has the ability to square it up often. Showed slightly more juice from right side at times in BP.Talented bat with an athletic look to him from both sides.  Worked out behind the dish and in the infield. Actions are athletic and smooth behind the dish. Transfer is quick and ball comes out well. Recorded pop times well ahead of the curve for class and looked to be a capable receiver in game. In the infield he plays fast with confidence in his glove. Skill set looks to play on the left side. More than capable defender in the infield with a slightly higher ceiling behind the dish at this stage.

5-foot-10, 155 pound infielder has an athletic, slender frame displayed average glovework defensively. Transfer was average and will increase as he develops further. Footwork is developing in quickness and angle taken to the ball. Average arm at 71 mph across the diamond for position velocities. Behind the dish he has quiet, fluid actions. Feet work well, creating direction and gaining ground to second base. Arm action is compact and fits the spot. Threw with accuracy and developing strength to second base.  Really like what I saw from Vilevac at the plate. Impressive feel up there for a prospect his age. Sprayed line drives all over the field, displaying both strength and twitch to his hands. Does a nice job of balancing control and intent in swing.
