Christian Durny: SS/RHP, (2023) St. Ignatius, OH. 5-foot-11, 155-pound athletic frame. During batting practice, Durny recorded an exit velocity of 78 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then used a leg kick. Has raw bat speed and flat swing plane. Athletic while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 73 mph; has soft hands, a clean exchange, and athletic feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. On the mound, using a consistent arm action he showed some arm speed from a ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Sat with his fastball at 74-76 mph; had running action and arm side control. Throws a 11/5 curveball (61-62) with gradual action. His changeup (69-69) shows fading action and arm side command.
