Two-way prospect. On the mound the righty has a physical presence to him. Up tempo delivery with a regular effort. Lands a bit open at foot strike leading to a finish towards the first base line. Long back arm action through a high-¾ slot. Fastball sat 73-75 mph with good life through the zone. Spins a hard breaker with a near 12/6 shape. Solid pitch with late dive at 65-67 mph. Completing his arsenal is a 65-66 mph changeup that has some dive to it. A first baseman with the frame for the spot. Quick, short feet off the bag. Does a nice job playing low through the baseball with soft hands and adequate ball skills. At the plate he starts in a balanced setup from the right side. Hands stay simple during leg kick timing trigger. Strong kid with some bat speed. Ball comes off well, showing run producer qualities. One of the louder BPs we saw on the day.
