Cooper Neel: RHP/SS, (2025) Brunswick, OH. 5-foot-9, 160-pound athletic build. (65.9 mph bat speed average). (21.9 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a controlled small leg kick. Bat speed was electric, had a short swing plane and balanced finish. He found lots of barrels with a lot of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Capable smooth while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 78 mph; had next level hands, quick in control footwork, and a quick exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a high ¾ slot and a short arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Projectable capable on the mound, using a clean arm action he showed quick arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort.
