A right-handed hitter at the plate.Uses a bat tip to get barrel momentum going during his toe turn load with lower half. Swing is compact with above average bat speed through the zone. Ball really jumped when he stayed inside the baseball. A line drive type guy with enough juice to find the gaps. Brings well above average athleticism to the catcher position. Hips are flexible allowing him to get in a low crouch. Burst out of his stance with quick feet. Exchange skills are average to slightly above average for class. Tends to finish towards third base line after he throws.

6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect. 60-yard dash was a 7.16. Behind the plate he starts in a lower crouch and does a nice job of getting in line to second base during his transfer. Transfer skills are adequate and throws were on target. Pop times ranged from 2.16-2.25, and he threw with 70 mph arm strength to home plate. At the plate he uses a double tap load and stride. Hands stay simple before getting the bat through the zone on a level plane. Above average strength and bat speed. Ball comes off his bat well and he showed the ability to roduce line drives up the middle in batting practice. Top exit velocity was 73 mph.
