2/16/20
2/16/20 Position Player Hit: Fluid mover in the box that utilizes the lower half well. Pre-launch movements create both balance and energy at foot strike. Rotational launch with above average natural tools for class. Mostly ground ball to low line drive flight in BP. Squared up the ball frequently. Power: Top batting practice exit velocity was 78.7 and he reached a top batting practice distance of 206 feet. Offensive Projection: TBD, young hitter with feel for contact. Field: Registered pop times ranging between 2.16-2.26. Looks the part behind the dish for class. Athletic actions with smooth exchange abilities. Pop times will easily drop as arm strength increases. Although ceiling looks higher behind the dish he also showed a serviceable skill set in the infield as well. Throw: 63 mph was top velocity across the infield and he recorded a top velocity of 68 mph from the catcher position. Defensive Projection: C/2B.
