Devin Anthony: RHP/OF, (2022) Hawken, OH. 6-foot, 180-pound athletic frame. At the plate, the left-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 87 mph. Begins in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is average and has a flat swing plane. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.04. On the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Sat with his fastball at 82-84 mph; showed running action and arm side control. Shows a 11/5 curveball (67-71) with plus action. Showed fading action and arm side command on his changeup (71-73).
Hit:Left-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Uses a double tap timing trigger during back load to hands. Balanced swing with good direction through the zone. Efficient path allows for all field ball flight. Sprayed line drives throughout the round.
Power:Athletic dude with present bat speed and more strength to come. Gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Multiple roles.

Scouting Notes:Showed two-way potential on the mound after a very strong showing as a position player. Easy delivery/arm really works. Fastball lived in the upper 70s while projecting for much more down the road. Primary secondary offering looks to be the changeup that he tosses with fastball arm speed giving it good sell out of the hand. Completing his arsenal is a breaking ball that looks serviceable.

Really gets a lot out of his legs allowing his arm to work free and easy. Aggressive down the mound. Fastball: Fastball topped at 81 mph, mostly true through the zone, more to come. Curveball: Between 64-68 mph, good spin, 11/5 shape, signs of sharpness. Changeup: 68-72 mph, good sell, fastball arm speed, some fade to it.
