Diego Sergent: OF/RHP, (2023) Lakota East, OH. 5-foot-9, 140-pound athletic frame. At the plate, Sergent's best exit velocity was 83 mph. Began in an athletic stance with a quick controlled load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed is raw and has a flat swing plane. Athletic in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 79 mph; has a clean exchange, soft hands, and quick developing feet. Fielded the ball one hand with twitchy movement laterally. Used a quick arm action on his throws. On the mound, showed quick arm speed, he had a quick arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Athletic balance point. Produced a fastball that came in at 74-78 mph; shows running action and arm side control. His 11/5 curveball (61-62) showed gradual action. Has fading action and arm side command on his changeup (65-69).
