8/5/18
5-foot-10, 185-pound. Athletic right-handed pitching prospect. Delivery has some rhythm and is compact. Moves down the mountain and good direction with level shoulders. Fastball works downhill out of a 3/4 slot at 81 to 85 mph. Shows good feel for an 11 to 5 breaking ball that has some depth to it at 72 to 74 mph. Also offered a change up at 74 to 75 mph, the pitch is thrown with fastball like arm speed showing slight sinking action.

8/5/18
5-foot-10, 185-pound. Right-handed hitting infield prospect. Displayed gap to gap power, registered an exit velocity of 88 mph. Bat path stays in the zone working slightly uphill creating some loft on the ball. Defensively showed good actions at third base, solid glove and a quick release topping at 83 mph on throws across the diamond. Also ran a 4.44 home to first.

7/17/18
A righty bat that starts in a tall stance. Simple load with efficient, well timed movements. Balanced launch with a slightly downhill path to contact. Strong kid with batspeed. Impressive feel for contact with the ability to drive the ball with authority. Swings shows up in games, lacing an inside the park home run. Really like the bat. In the infield he look comfortable and athletic. Feet are well timed and maintain rhythm throughout fielding. Ball skills are well above average. Skill set profiles on the left side. Solid defender. Legit two-way prospect at the right level. Athletic and clean off the mound with feel for the strike zone, filling it up with three quality offerings. Fastball shows heavy arm side action sitting 80-81 mph. All signs point to more velo in the tank. Changeup was the best one we saw on the day. Maintains arm speed on the offering that shows heavy run and dive at 73-75 mph. Also will spin an above average breaking ball on an 11/5 plane 69-70 mph. Starter type that has a real chance to be in a college rotation down the road with his stuff and pitchability.

5/29/18
A sort of sleeper prospect who had a very good year for a talented LaSalle team. Not going to wow you with his swing in BP but has a ton of feel in the box in game. Sees the ball well and rarely left the zone. Swing is compact with backspin abilities to the middle of the field. Should see more juice and natural ball flight to the corners as he adds some loft to his stroke. Very solid defensively at third base as well. Moves well laterally with solid ball skills to either side. Will maintain actions and use multiple arm slots on the move. On the mound he showed feel for all three offerings and mixed it up well. Was very efficient in his outing and produced regular swing/miss or weak contact. Another guy you could see having more velocity in there as well.

5-foot-10, 182-pound right handed hitter displayed some fast hands getting into the zone quickly and drove several balls the round. Nieman’s bat provides above average power that can improve if his front leg is more flexible and back leg fires with greater intent. His exit velocity was 87 mph which showed as he made strong contact resulting in many hard line-drives. Defensively, he projects as a third base type at the next level. Hands work well. Uses short arm action through high ¾ type arm slot. Accurate throws with top velocity of 75 mph. Will be aided as footwork maintains fluidity and direction towards his target.
