Dylan Patterson: OF/OF, (2022) Glenoak, OH. 5-foot-10, 163-pound. Solid during batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 84 mph. Begins in an athletic balanced stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, and showed a level swing plane. Found some barrels in his round. Line drive approach. Solid in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 75 mph; has a natural exchange, soft hands, and choppy quick feet. Clocked a time of 7.1 in the 60-yard dash.

5-foot-8, 158 pound outfield prospect. Patterson’s throwing velocity was 66 mph with good accuracy. A few attempts saw him get tall early upon fielding the ball, preventing him from getting the most out of his throws. At the plate, he starts from a wide stance and swings with a level bat path getting to strong contact point. He can create greater separation in his load which would lead to an increase in his 66 mph exit velocity. Patterson exerted good energy for each action he took which will lead to good development in his future. On the mound, the right handed pitcher throws through a 3/4 slot with easiness in effort throughout delivery. Average arm speed. Offers a 65-68 mph fastball that he consistently locates in the zone. Breaking ball displays some sharp break as it sits between 59-60 mph. Displays a good change of pace pitch with his 60-61 mph changeup.
