RHP/OF, (2023) Springboro, OH. 6-foot-1, 175-pound. Solid on the mound, used a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Has an athletic balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands soft with balanced finish. Threw his fastball 80-82 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2005; Avg 1824). His 11/5 curveball (66-68) showed some sweeping action. (Max spin 2225; Avg 2122). He had slight fading action on his changeup (69-72)
Elijah Gillette: RHP/OF, (2023) Springboro, OH. 6-foot-1, 175-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 85 mph. (65.5 mph bat speed average). (20.2 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, showed a short simple swing plane and high finish. Solid from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 83 mph; shows a natural exchange, sure hands, and consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.56 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he used a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Threw his fastball 81-82 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1933; Avg 1910). His 11/5 curveball (64-67) showed gradual sweeping action. (Max spin 2102; Avg 1970). He had slight fading action on his changeup (69-70).
