Ethan Malek: RHP/SS, (2026) Beachwood, OH. 6-foot-1, 160-pound lanky build. (68.5 mph bat speed average). (20.1 mph hand speed average). Began in a wide stance with a quick load, then used a small leg kick. Had an uphill swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. He barreled up a couple of balls with loud contact. Aggressive approach. Advanced in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 87 mph; showed sure hands, in control rhythmic feet, and a clean fluid exchange. Movements laterally were athletic twitchy and he fields the ball out front. Used uninterrupted slot with a loose arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Advanced on the mound, had a loose clean arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed. Feel type pitcher and uses decent effort. Displays even shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands square with balanced finish. (Max spin 2325; Avg 2187).

Began in a balanced athletic stance with a compact load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is developing, shows a loose level swing plane and balanced finish. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 79 mph; has sure hands, a natural exchange, and consistent feet. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Had a consistent arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.4. On the mound, showed some arm speed with a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2042; Avg 1940). Capable projectable on the mound, showed a high ¾ arm angle and a moderate clean arm action with good arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows decent effort. Showed consistent balance point with even shoulders. Lands open with an athletic balanced finish. (Max spin 2281; Avg 2177).
