Body Type: 185-pound athletic frame.
Hit: Very efficient lower half with a level path to contact. Swing has some aggression to it. Natural tools are balanced, showing similar amount of strength and speed to hands. Both tools above average for class. All fields guy who saw most natural ball flight to middle of field.
Power: Ball comes off well. Loud BP. Showed gap abilities. 94.1 mph off the bat in BP.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.
Field: In the outfield he plays with active feet, remaining low throughout sequence. Ball skills appear to be ahead of the curve for class and he looks confident throughout play through.
Throw: High-3/4 righty with respectable strength and signs of more to come.
Defensive Projection: Corner Outfield.
Body Type: 6-foot, 185-pound physical, athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Tall open stance. Shows a back load during toe turn timing trigger.
Hit: Level path with a bit more strength than speed through the zone but both tools are well above average. Pull side tendencies in BP. Room to clean up but definitely something there.
Power: 92 mph exit velocity. Ball jumps when squared.
Offensive Projection: Good athlete w/run producer potential.
Run: 6.84 60-yard dash.
Field: Plays with aggressive feet, getting too and through quickly. Average ball skills at this stage.
Throw: Mostly accurate arm with above average strength.
Defensive Projection: Multiple Spots in Outfield.
In the outfield he uses short, quick footwork in his approach. Plays two-handed through the baseball to ensure ball security. Arm plays best in center of left. At the plate the right-hander starts in a balanced setup. Loading sequence is quiet, taking hands slightly back during his short stride forward. Swing is compact and level. Strength stands out in swing. Stays inside the ball well, showing line drive abilities to his opposite field gap. Potential to be an extra base hit threat once bat speed catches up to strength. Works exclusively from the stretch, allowing him to repeat his delivery. Arm action is long with a pause in the back prior to forward acceleration. Fastball comes through a high-¾ slot, sitting 70-72, topping at 73 mph. The pitch showed occasional cut. Spins an 11/5 shaped breaking ball with big, gradual action at 59-62 mph. The pitch appeared tighter/sharper to glove side.
