Evan Kortes: RHP, (2023) Westlake, OH. 6-foot-1, 190-pound. Solid on the mound, showed consistent arm speed with a quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Tall balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Showed slight running action. (Max spin 1878; Avg 1764). Had some action on his 11/5 curveball. (Max spin 1747; Avg 1689). His 10/4 slider has late action. (Max spin 1817; Avg 1807).
Scouting Notes: A young RHP that works with a fluid, easy tempo. Compact arm that travels through a high-3/4 slot. Fastball has 16+inches of induced vertical break. Also showed a playable breaking ball. Expect more velocity as he matures physically.

Breaking Ball: 67-69mph.
