Griff Cady: OF/3B, (2022) Moeller, OH. 6-foot-1, 170-pound. Solid during batting practice, Cady clocked an exit velocity of 94 mph. Started in an athletic balanced stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a short stride. Has quick bat speed. Barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 85 mph. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.28.
Griff Cady: OF/1B, (2022) Moeller, OH. 6-foot-1, 175-pound athletic frame. During batting practice, Cady recorded an exit velocity of 93 mph. Starts in an athletic balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a toe tap. Had an upward swing plane, explosive bat speed and high finish. Solid in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 86 mph; has a clean exchange, rhythmic feet, and soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action.

Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic stance. Goes with a smooth, efficient load with impressive control of body throughout. Intent driven stroke with rotational tendencies. Generated natural backspin when staying through contact. Definite hit tool to follow.

Hit: Athletic narrow stance getting the bat across the zone in a hurry. Does a great job keeping the bat level through the zone and driving the ball to middle half of the field. Guy to watch out for.
Power: 90mph exit velo with a max distance of 318 feet.
Offensive Projection: Line drive run producer potential.
Field: Conservative approach with smooth transition into throwing. Footwork is fluid and consistent.
Throw: 83mph outfield velo.
Defensive Projection: CF.

Body Type: 5-foot-11, 170-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Athletic loading sequence, incorporating a bat tip during his leg kick timing trigger.
Hit: Compact, downhill stroke with intent behind it. Ball jumps when squared. Good athlete with some feel in the box.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity. Balanced combination of strength and speed to stroke. Gap abilities now with more to come.
Offensive Projection: Run producer potential.
Run: 4.85 H-1st.
Field: Moves light on his feet in the outfield with fluid actions. Ball skills are developing. Very smooth defender.
Throw: Clean arm with present accuracy and developing strength. Topped at 75 mph to home plate.
Defensive Projection: CF/LF.
6/27/18
Stands out immediately for frame. Very physical, athletic built at 5-foot-11, 160-pounds. A righty swinger with fluid moves prior to launch, incorporating a leg kick and bat tip to loading sequence. Path has some natural loft through the zone. Hands speed is there with advanced strength showing up at contact. Ball jumps off his bat, generating big time juice to both gaps. Run producer type bat. Big arm from the outfield. Corner type that is mechanically sound in general. Looks the part out there. Talented player to follow.
