Swing Mechanics: Utilizes a leg kick load to initiate his swing. Shows a somewhat long swing with an uphill bat path.
Hit: Solid ability to find the barrel and tries to lift the ball.
Power: 76 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Shows enough aptitude at the plate to be looked at by colleges. Has some upside with some natural lift to his swing. Developing more physical strength will be key to his offensive development.
Field: Behind the plate Davenport showed decently quick feet and a naturally quick arm. Would benefit from getting stronger and more in control of his movements. His pop time was 2.02-2.07.
Throw: 72 mph from behind the plate.
Defensive Projection: Shows some good raw skills and fundamentals along with a naturally quick arm. Will be a guy to keep an eye as he develops more physically.
