Begins in an open tall stance with a low load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed is average, has an upward swing plane and a front foot finish. Fly ball approach. Athletic projectable in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 73 mph; has soft hands, smooth feet, and a clean exchange. Solid on the mound, showed developing arm speed, he had a ¾ arm angle with a compact arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. He has in line shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands square with a clean finish. Has control around the zone and slight running action. (Max spin 1791; Avg 1672). Showed some action and control around the zone on his curveball. (Max spin 1889; Avg 1866).
