RHP/SS, (2025) Piqua, OH. 5-foot-9, 150-pound. During batting practice, Steinke clocked an exit velocity of 74 mph. (58.5 mph bat speed average). (18.4 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a compact load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, displayed a loose level swing plane and balanced finish. Solid in the infield, his best throw was registered at 80 mph; had quick footwork, firm hands, and a natural exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.28. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a quick arm action while showing some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Threw his fastball 79-82 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2198; Avg 2011). He shows some fading action on his changeup (72-72). His 10/4 slider (67-70) had late tight action. (Max spin 2042; Avg 1944).

Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.44 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, showed some arm speed with a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 80-83 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2111; Avg 2009). His curveball (62-64) shows some action. (Max spin 1869; Avg 1683). His changeup (68-70) had fading action.
