5-foot-7 and 150-pound right-handed pitching prospect. McKnight worked out of the stretch only on this day. Delivery was smooth, using a high leg lift before rolling into a hip load and creating some tilt. Uses a long arm action working out of a ¾ slot. Presently McKnight only offers two pitches, a fastball and a changeup. The fastball was mostly straight working downhill at 65-68 MPH. The changeup, which sat 56-61 MPH showed consistent arm side run. Two-way prospect. In the infield he moves light on his feet and does a nice job remaining athletic through fielding sequence. Plays low and displayed above average ball skills for class. Has the hands and feet for the spot with arm strength developing. Swings it from the right side, starting in a balanced stance. Flows through load, maintaining rhythm into launch. Swing is slightly uphill and displays above average strength/bat speed. Squared the ball up regularly in BP, impressive pull side pop.
