Jacoby Oliverio: C/RHP, (2022) Olentangy Berlin, OH. 5-foot-9, 165-pound. Capable in the box, Oliverio clocked an exit velocity of 71 mph. Began in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is average and uses a simple rotational swing plane. He found some barrels through his round. Line drive approach. Behind the plate, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 73 mph; showed consistent hands, a fluid exchange, and rhythmic feet. He produced a pop time of 2.02-2.16. Has some flexibility. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.72. Capable on the mound, showed some arm speed, also used a long arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher who uses decent effort. Curveball (60-63 mph), changeup (69-70 mph), slider (71-72 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 76-79 mph.

5-foot-8, 170-pound athletic, projectable body frame. From behind the plate he has fluid footwork shuffling through his throws to second base. Throws with a clean, short arm action through a ¾ slot producing pop times of 2.03-2.19 and a velocity of 71 mph. On the mound he has a slower paced delivery with regular effort. Utilizes a vertical leg lift landing in a straight line finishing with his momentum carrying toward home plate. Has quickness to his arm speed coming from a high ¾ slot thats close to being over the top. Fastball is mostly true through the zone ranging from 75-78 mph. Curveball has a 12/6 shape with good depth and signs of late bite at 63-66 mph. Slider has good shape with sinking action and has tighter break than his curveball offering hitters a different look at a breaking pitch from 65-69 mph. RIght-handed hitter starts from an open stance landing back to even at foot strike. Hands stay mostly quiet going straight to the baseball and finishing with a two-handed follow through. Showed an up the middle approach with the ability to hit the ball to all parts of the field during BP reaching an exit velocity of 78 mph. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash.

Body type: 5-foot-8, 170-pound thin frame.
Swing mechanics: Simple and compact load with minimal movement into his lower half, and has very quiet hands.
Hit: Downhill bat path with a pull side approach.
Power: Line drive guy right now with more to come as he develops and adds size.
Offensive projection: TBD.
Field: Behind the dish, he features an open stance with developing footwork, and an efficient transfer. Sound fundamentally on the infield with solid glove work, works through the ball.
Throw: Developing arm with loose arm action. Clean transfer and accurate throws. Arm is still developing.
Defensive Projection: UTL.
Body Type: 5-foot-8, 170-pound thin frame.
Mechanics/Delivery: Slower tempo delivery that is compact and efficient.
Fastball: Fastball comes out of a ¾ slot working on a downhill plane with slight cutting action at 73-77 mph.
Curveball: At 59-62 mph the breaking ball has gradual breaking working on an 11/5 tilt.
Slider: Slider has a tighter late break at 64-65 mph. Pitch could develop into a swing and miss offering.
Pitchability: Low effort and repeatable delivery. Filled the zone with all three offers. Fastball is easy out of the hand and looks like it will get on hitters. Slider has future swing and miss potential.
