6-foot-1, 175-pound frame. Shier, a Tiffin commit, is a solid all-around player. Projects to be an above average defender at third base with impressive glove skills and feel for the position. Arm strength is more than adequate across the diamond. At the plate he creates energy through a fluid, double tap load. Hands move back to launch prior to getting the bat through the zone on a slightly downhill path. Natural tools are there to be a run producer at the next level. Was at his best when he worked the middle of the field.

6-foot-1, 175-pound athletic, projectable frame. In the infield he has fluid footwork with above average glove skills. Very smooth defender. Threw across the infield with 81 mph arm strength. At the plate he has a fluid load prior to taking a flat path to the ball. More batspeed than his 80 mph exit velocity would indicate. Sprayed line drives all over the field in batting practice. Showed an advanced approach in game play. Solid hitter and good all around player.
