6/13/18
A physical bat from the right side. Uses a small leg lift for timing as hands stay simple prior to launch. Strength stands out through the zone with bat speed being an average tool. Ball really comes off when he finds the barrel. Middle of the lineup type. At first base he showed much better ball skills than when we saw him this fall. Lateral mobility still has room to improve but he plays with obvious feel for the position.
Home to 1st: 4.81
Infield Velocity: 74
Exit Velocity: 84

1/15/18

Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. At first base he looks well versed at the position. Showed feel around the bag with adequate ball skills. Threw across the diamond with 77 mph arm strength. Has room to grow as defender but has continue to improve each time we’ve seen him.  A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall, balanced setup. Goes with an easy back load during his controlled stride forward. Strength stood out in swing. Ball comes off well, showing easy gap pop. Showed signs of raw power in there, with feel for finding the barrel. Middle of the lineup type. Recorded a top exit velocity of 89 mph.

8/27/16
Showed some of the top raw power at the event. Lower half is fluid, creating rhythm and timing. Generates most of his power from his upper half. His vertical bat launch gives him natural whip through the zone. Barrel gets through the baseball with authority on a slightly uphill path. His natural loft to his swing allows him to lift the baseball with ease. When bat speed catches up to his strength he is a candidate to do routine damage. At first base he moves around the bag with feel. Ball skills are adequate and he will make the routine play with ease. Would be aided by create angles with his pre-fielding footwork on double play balls.
60-yard dash: 7.61
Infield Velocity: 75
Exit Velocity: 86

7/25/17
A right-hander hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Loading sequence is simple, using a back load during short stride. Launches from a balanced position. Bat has obvious quickness to it, getting through contact with authority. Strength stands out. Showed easy gap pop with power to come. Middle of the lineup bat. A first baseman with feel for the spot. Gets off the bag with good direction. Glove skills are developing. Looked confident and comfortable during defensive workout.
60-yard Dash: 7.6
Infield Velocity: 71
Exit Velocity: 88

7/12/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Barrel is fluid and launches from a vertical position. Uses a short stride for timing. Path was mostly level with noticeable whip through the zone. Strength is his top tool at the plate. Ball came off his bat well, especially to his pull side. Showed middle of the lineup potential. In the infield, his footwork is adequate. Could benefit by playing through the ball more. Funnels the ball straight up prior to transfer. Releases from a 3/4 arm slot with developing arm strength. Profiles well at first base.
60-yard dash: 7.55
Infield Velocity: 69
Exit Velocity: 87
