8/1/17
6’1, 165-pound prospect. At the plate, the right-handed hitting prospect generates lower half energy through a controlled stride. Barrel moves back prior to launching from a vertical position. Looks athletic in the box. A strong kid with some twitch through the zone on a slightly downhill path. Ball comes off his bat well, showing easy gap pop. Handles the low pitch well. Behind the plate he looks athletic, showing flexibility to his hips. Mechanically sound with a quick transfer. Arm has obvious whip to it. Showed well above average arm strength and threw with accuracy.

6/13/16
6-foot, 155-pound athletic frame. Starts in a tall setup and showed definite strength and batspeed through the zone. Ball came off his bat well in batting practice. Better to his pull sides at this stage. Path is uphill the ball.  Registered an exit velocity of 87 mph and ran a 4.97 from home to first. His best tool behind the plate is his arm as he threw to second base with 74 mph arm strength. Footwork is adequate. Would be aided by a quicker transfer. Pop times ranged from 2.13-2.28.

7/15/15
5-foot-11, 140-pound thin, projectable frame. Right-handed hitter that starts slightly open with a little stride and hands back on his load. Swing get a little long with a slightly up hill finish. Registered top exit velocity of 77 mph. Behind the plate he starts with wide base and has good footwork to get his feet in line. Transfer is clean and throws from a long, high-3/4 slot with pop times ranging from 2.2-2.3 and 72 mph arm strength to second base. On the mound he has a slow tempo delivery that he is able to repeat with good direction. Minimal effort and throws from a long, high-3/4 slot with fastball sitting 75-77 mph. Showcased a knuckleball with good life at 63-64 mph.
