Joey Faulkner: C/SS, (2022) Anderson, OH. 5-foot-10, 165-pound proportional athletic build. In the box, Faulkner recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. (66.66 mph bat speed average). (20.94 mph hand speed average). Begins in a tall balanced stance with a low controlled load, then uses a short controlled stride. Has average bat speed, short level swing plane and level finish. Athletic from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 80 mph; has athletic developing feet, sure developing hands, and a packing exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.97.

2/17/19 Position
Body Type: 5-foot-8 145-pound prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Starts in a medium setup and uses a toe tap load. Has a slight armbar during his load which leads to him casting his barrel around the zone.
Hit: Average bat to ball ability and barrel control.
Power: 77 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Present skill set and swing would lend itself best to a line drive singles approach to all fields.
Field: In the infield he waits a bit too much on the ball with minimal footwork and angles through the ball. Did show a good release and naturally quick arm.
Throw: 73 mph across the diamond.
Run: 4.78 home to first.
Defensive Projection: Presently would assume he would fit best at 2B at the next level, but how develops physically could dramatically alter that.
