Body Type: 5-foot-10, 175-pound physical frame.
Hit: Balanced swinger with easy juice. Impressive combination of strength and feel for contact. A natural mover in the box with the ability to manipulate barrel to make quality contact. Very solid round of BP and recorded multiple extra base hits in game.
Power: 88.7 off the bat in BP. Gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup.
Run: 4.68 H-1st.
Field: Very solid showing in the outfield. Plays low/under control throughout sequence. Sure-handed out there with a smooth play through.
Throw: Arm works well. Combines strength well with accuracy and should see easy mphs as he continues to develop physically.
Defensive Projection: Corner outfield.
Body Type: 5-foot-10, 180-pound athletic frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Easy, athletic delivery. Arm really works. Expect more strength to come.
Fastball: 77-79 mph. A bit hotter than velocity would suggest. Showed slight cutting action when down in the zone.
Curveball: 61-63 mph. 1/7 shaped with some sharpness to it. Big action with developing depth.
Additional Comments: More of an athlete than a pitcher but there is definitely something in there with his athleticism and arm action.
Swing Mechanics: Uses a leg kick timing trigger with slight back load to hands.
Hit: Athletic actions in the box. Physical bat with feel for contact. Drove it all over the yard in BP. Swing plays.
Power: 89 mph exit velocity. Gap to Gap pop with signs of loft power in there.
Offensive Projection: Run Producer.
Run: 7.77 60-yard dash.
Field: Fluid defender with above average ball skills. Looked the part out there.
Throw: 83 mph arm strength to home plate. Very clean, fast arm with more strength on its way.
Defensive Projection: Ball skills to play all three with foot speed making the corners a higher probability.
Additional Comments: Functionally athletic kid that looks the part on both sides of the ball. Foot speed in only red flag. Hits enough to move to first base if need be. L/L guy who can play.
5-foot-8, 145-pound prospect. On the mound, the southpaw shows clean mechanics while throwing through a ¾ slot. Fastball displays running action at 74-77 mph. Still needs to develop his breaking ball that sits between 56-57 mph. Also mixes in a 64-65 mph changeup, thrown with near fastball arm speed. 2020 prospect with plenty of time to keep progressing on the mound. A lefty swinger that starts in an athletic setup. Shifts weight to back leg during leg kick load before shifting back into contact. Stays fluid throughout loading sequence. Impressive pop for frame. Bat speed is above average. Worked well to the middle of the field in batting practice. In the outfield he showed off a solid skill set across the board. Routes are efficient and he has feel for the position. Plays with fluidity and confidence. Throws were on target, with carry to home plate.
