8/6/17
A two way prospect with a very projectable frame. On the bump the righty has an uptempo delivery that requires some effort. A tall and fall type guy that lands on line at foot strike. Arm speed is above average. His upper 70s to low 80s fastball gets on hitters quicker than velocity would suggest with his length and over the top slot. Breaking ball was very sharp stuff wise. The spinner has a near 12/6 shape with depth and sharpness. If he can consistently keep the pitch in the zone it projects as a plus offering. A left-handed hitter that starts in a wider setup. Uses a smooth leg lift for timing. Hands move slightly back prior to launch. Path is level and swing is compact. Strength stands out as top tool. A middle of the lineup bat with some loft power. Frame fits the first base position. Looks athletic off the bag. Has feel for the position and can create angles with his feet. Glove skills are solid as well. Projects as an above average defender.

6/6/17
A projectable right-handed pitching prospect with a 6-foot-5 frame. Still growing into his frame and has room to add strength. Works through a high-¾ slot with obvious looseness to his arm. Fastball was mostly straight through the zone with slight run at times at 78-81 mph. Does a nice job of maintaining fastball arm speed on his 73-74 mph changeup. The pitch showed more run than fastball. Also spins an 11/5 shaped breaking ball that was very sharp at times. The pitch has good spin and drops off the table at 67-68 mph.

2/9/17
6-foot-5, 185-pound very projectable frame. A definite arm to follow in the 2018 class.  On the mound the right-hander has a slower pace tempo to a delivery that requires little effort. Arm action is long and loose. Arm speed is well above average, while working through a high-¾ slot. Fastball is heavy and showed run and sink at times while sitting 82-84 mph, topping at 86 mph. Has more velocity left in there. Is able to maintain his arm speed on his 75-76 mph changeup. Showed decent feel for the pitch that had similar action to his fastball. His best offspeed pitch was his 11/5 shaped breaking ball that came in at 69-72 mph. The breaker was sharp and had depth, while consistently being in the zone. A lefty swinger that uses a toe turn load to get things started. Hands move back prior to taking a slight downhill path to the ball. Has the tools to be a middle of the order guy. Would like to see him flatten out path a bit. Showed impressive pop to his pull side in batting practice. Ideal frame for the first base position. Plays with feel and confidence. Impressive athleticism for frame. Showed well above average glove skills. Projects as an above average defender at the next level.

6/15/16
Long 6-foot-3, 175-pound thin, projectable body frame. On the mound he uses a full, hands over the head wind up using simple mechanics with a straight up and down leg lift, while using regular effort to his delivery. I would like to see him incorporate more lower half torque into his delivery. He lands in a straight line at foot strike, with his momentum carrying toward home plate. He throws with a clean arm action, using just above average arm speed, through a ¾ slot. His fastball was between 77-80 mph. His curveball projects nicely, showing signs of sharp, late break at an 11/5 plane between 66-67 mph. He throws his changeup using fastball arm speed at 70-71 mph. In the infield he uses good footwork to approach ground balls. He throws with a clean arm action, through a lower ¾ slot, reaching a top velocity of 72 mph across the infield. Left-handed hitter starts from a balanced stance, and uses a fluid load with his hands moving toward his back shoulder. Swings with a level bat path through the zone, finishing with a two-handed follow through. Showed the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice. Finished with a top exit velocity of 83 mph and ran a 7.83 60-yard dash. Behind the plate, the catcher topped out at 67 mph while popping between a 2.18 and 2.33.
