Scouting Notes: Clean, athletic delivery that doesn't require a ton of effort. Arm really works. Shows all the physical signs of more to come. Fastball/changeup guy for the most part. Fastball sat in the low 80s but won't be there for long and showed excellent feel for the change.
Fastball: 82-83mph.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1509-1595
Breaking Ball: 63-65mph.
Breaking Ball Spin Rate: 1709-1771
Changeup: 73-75mph.
Hit: Left-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Fluid, athletic moves that lead to a balanced launch. Smooth mover. Worked middle of the field in BP, sporting more than serviceable speed and strength to stroke.
Power: Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection: Table setter.
Max BP Exit Velocity: 88 mph
Max BP Distance: 279 ft
Field: Direct routes in the infield. Hands work well and he showed capable ball skills.
Throw: Ball jumps, arm is top tool.
Defensive Projection: 3B.
1/20/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Athletically built right-hander with an uptempo delivery. Looks the part out there. Good mover with an explosive delivery. Could easily see these 83s turning into 5's and 6's down this spring.
Fastball: Heavy pitch with some arm side life. Sat 82-83, topping at 84 mph.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1700-1800
Curveball: Well above average pitch. Sharp bender with an 11/5 shape and good depth.
Curveball Spin Rate: 1900-2100
Changeup: Changeup is also a quality offering and moves him into a true three-pitch type arm. Impressive outing.
Pitchability: Strike thrower.
1/20/20 Position Player
Hit: Really looked the part in the box. Lefty swinger with athletic moves and impressive control over his body. His advanced feel for contact allows him to turn it loose without sacrificing quality contact. Drove the ball all over the yard and still projects for much more after he fills out that athletic frame. One of my favorite bats of the day.
Power: Easy gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.

Field: Good athlete over at the third base position. Plays with active, quick feet and takes efficient routes. Hands are above average for class.
Throw: Clean loose arm with respectable present strength and more to come.
