A lefty swinger that showed advanced natural tools for his class. Creates energy and timing through a leg kick timing trigger. Path has some natural loft and he creates consistent backspin. Middle of the lineup type bat who generates easy gap pop showing signs of pull-side power. A good athlete behind the plate who showed above average arm strength throwing to second base. Footwork in sound and creates direction during transfer. Would like to see him shorten arm action. On the bump he has a slower paced delivery that requires some effort. Works through a high-¾ slot, generating above average arm speed. Tall and fall type guy. Fastball stayed straight through the zone, coming in at 71-74 mph. Also spins an 11/5 shaped breaking ball that had gradual downward movement at 58-59 mph.
