12/2/18 At the plate the left handed hitting prospect uses a toe tap load and maintains solid balance throughout the swing. He had a mostly uphill bat path which would lead to predominantly contact in the air. He did show above average barrel control and registered an exit velocity of 82 mph. Undersized for the first base position but makes up for it with well above average athleticism and ball skills. Tools across the board grade out as above average. On the mound DiGiammarino has a slight frame. In his delivery he displays athletic movement patterns and throws from a ¾ arm slot. His fastball showed some arm side run at times with better command to his arm side of the fastball. He was 74-77 mph with his fastball. His breaking ball showed a slider type action with mostly lateral movement while coming in at 65-69 mph. He showed a good ability to spin the breaking ball. He also flashed a changeup at 70-71 mph that was pretty true through the zone but did show decent command of the pitch to both sides of the plate. 60-yard Dash: 7.41 Infield Velocity: 70 Exit Velocity: 82
