Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in an upright setup. Physical dude with above average bat speed. Also an efficient mover that generates above average rotational acceleration. All fields approach in BP. Ball comes off well. Classic middle profile.
Power: Loft power to pull.
Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup.
Field: Corner guy. Plays with an aggressive tempo and serviceable ball skills.
Throw: Arm is an above average tool.
Defensive Projection: Corner.
Scouting Notes: Physical presence on the mound. Work with good tempo to a delivery that requires some effort. Legit three pitch guy with a fastball that has late movement and secondary offerings that are quality. High follow as he continues to develop physically. Got to like the combination of physical upside/current stuff.
Fastball: Heavy offering with quality horizontal/vertical action. Also should see velo additions as physical maturation takes its course. Up to 82mph while sitting in the upper 70s.
Breaking Ball: 11/5 shaped breaker with a solid combination of depth and action to it. Pitch definitely has potential.
Changeup: Quality sell with regular fade.
Pitchability: Strike thrower for the most part.
