Swing Mechanics: Fluid, simple load prior to taking a level path to contact. Physical bat with the ability to do damge. Ball comes off his bat well. Drove the ball with authority and the ability to lift in BP.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity. Regular gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Middle of Lineup.
Run: 7.31 60-yard dash.
Field: First baseman with feel for the spot. Moves off the bag well and plays with feel. Ball skills are above average for class.
Throw: Arm is a big tool for position. Zips it across the diamond with 79 mph arm strength.
Defensive Projection: 1B.
2/7/19 Pitching
Body Type: 6-foot, 180-pound physical, athletic frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: High-¾ right-hander that works with an uptempo pace. Delivery has some effort. Fast arm with above average strength.
Fastball: 79-82 mph. High spin rate guy who tosses a heavy fastball. Pitch appears hotter than velocity would suggest.
Curveball: 68-69 mph. His best secondary offering. Near 12/6 shape to it with some heavy action. Well above average pitch that has some swing and miss to it.
Changeup: 71-74 mph. Developing pitch. Showed signs of being an above average pitch when in the zone.
Pitchability: Fastball/breaking ball were in the zone consistently with changeup coming along.
Additional Comments: Live arm with a very sharp breaking ball. Definite college future on the mound.
