2/13/18

Very athletic frame with some physical projection left. Works fast with athletic actions to his delivery. Arm is loose and fast through a high-¾ slot. Sits 82-85 mph with his fastball that has action to both sides of the plate. . Spins a sharp, two-plane breaking ball that projects as a well above average offering at 68-70 mph. Also showed the top changeup of the day. The pitch has heavy cut, resembling a slider more than a change at 76-77 mph. A righty swinger at the plate. Actions are fluid and athletic in the box. Pre launch movements create consistent timing and energy. A feel hitter that will find the barrel regular. Strength and bat speed both project as above average tools. A line drive hitter with a three-hole look to him. Worked out at multiple defensive positions with most impressive showing at third base. Covers a lot of ground for the spot, displaying impressive lateral mobility. Ball skills are there and he has feel for the spot. In the outfield he uses efficient footwork and his infielder ball skills show at fielding. Arm plays in all three spots. Behind the dish he showed off above average catch and throw skills. Feet are quick and create solid direction. Transfer is clean and he threw with accuracy. Could be a legit two-way option as well at the right level. Ketron has a definite college future and should be a follow for college coaches coming into the high school season.

Behind the plate, he starts with a solid base. Works wells from the ground up. Transfers the ball to the chest before throwing from a 3/4 slot. In the infield, his feet move quick. Occasionally gets caught flat footed on the longer hops. Receives the ball with solid glove skills. Funnels the ball into his waist. Transfers very cleanly into a 3/4 release. Arm speed across the diamond is developing. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a short stride for timing. Creates most of his energy with his upper half. His bat tip load is efficient and creates whip. Natural tools are well above average for his class. Ball jumped off his bat, especially to his pull side. Projects as a middle of the lineup bat as he matures.

6/15/16

5-foot-11, 165-pound athletic body frame. From third base he uses good footwork to approach ground balls, while continuing to play through the baseball. He throws with a clean, short arm action, through a low to almost sidearm slot. Right-handed hitter starts from a slightly closed stance, striding back to being even and squared up. He swings with a level at path through the zone, finishing with a two-handed follow through. Showed strength during his round of batting practice. Produced a top exit velocity of 82 mph and ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. Behind the dish, the catcher offers quickness in actions and consistently popped between a 1.99 and 2.05. Topped out at 75 mph.
