Marquise Loring/Svarda: SS/RHP, (2022) Central Crossing, OH. 6-foot-1, 164-pound projectable frame. At the plate, Loring/s95da recorded an exit velocity of 95 mph. Began in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled stride. Has an uphill swing plane, electric bat speed and high finish. Gap to gap approach. Athletic in the infield, his best throw was registered at 71 mph; has a clean exchange, soft sure hands, and smooth fluid feet. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a loose arm action and a ¾ slot. On the mound, curveball (67-69 mph). Threw his fastball 76-80 mph.
1/26/19 Body Type: 6-foot, 167-pound frame with endless projection left. Swing Mechanics: Simple yet athletic load that creates balance and energy. Hit: Young hitter with obvious athleticism and upside. Long lever type that can do damage when he gets extended. Much more to come. Power: 78 mph exit velocity. Present gap abilities with signs of raw power in there as he adds strength to frame. Offensive Projection: Middle of Lineup. Run: 4.58 H-1st. Field: Athleticism shows on the defensive end as well. Moves well out there, covering more ground than most. Ball skills are on par for class. How he develops physically will likely determine future destination. Throw: Topped at 72 mph across the infield. Arm works well, projecting for more strength down the road. Defensive Projection: UTL. Additional Comments: Upside prospect w/athleticism and the ability to a ton you can’t teach.
